New York City’s own, Alex Gil, has been with Gimenez since the beginning. His energetic and over-the-top stage performance has proven to be a perfect match for us and our cutting edge guitar designs.
Born and raised in New York, Alex states, “My musical tastes are as diverse as the city itself.” Indeed, with 20 years of guitar playing and over 2,000 live performances under his belt, Alex can exceed in virtually any genre.
Alex’s experience includes stints with great rock bands like Dead Rockinghorse and Kore Rozzik (who are currently on an East Coast U.S. tour), and previous solo projects that highlight his music and writing skills.
With his hard-hitting, hard rock approach to music, it’s no wonder Alex says his influences come from Slash, Dimebag Darrel, James Hatfield, John Petrucci, and many other accomplished players.
