The word has gotten out! Gimenez Guitars has caught the attention of players in the Rock, Heavy Metal, Top 40, and now the Funk, Blues and R&B scene of New York City!
NYC has always been a hot-bed for super talented musicians for decades. So, it just seems logical that Gimenez Guitars would be seen being played by several guitarists in the city’s West Village.
Our guitars have been played in some of the most famous music venues in the entire country! Places like Cafe Wha? where Hendrix played; The Bitter End, a staple in the Blues jam scene and of course the home of NYC’s Funk and R&B scene; and The Groove on the corner of Macdougal St. and West 3rd in the world-famous New York West Village.
A Custom Build for an Exceptional Talent
Gimenez Guitars, LLC will be making an announcement soon regarding a new musician to our growing family. He has played around the world, been on stage with some of the biggest acts in music and has even recorded albums with top names in Country Music. I have to say that in my humble opinion, he is one of the greatest guitarists I have ever witnessed.
His new signature model will have a maple body & maple neck (a Gimenez standard), EMG Passive pickups in an H-S-H configuration with special coil tapping for an extensive pallet of tone, and of course, tuners on the body right where they should be!
