In addition to putting the final touches on our latest prototypes, the guys at Gimenez have been hard at work putting together a bunch of resources aimed at promoting the local music scene and giving artists even more ways to get involved with us. We’re hammering out the details of several major initiatives, including putting together an Advisory Board and working out the details of an endorsement program. The Advisory Board will be a small group of working musicians who will be working closely with Gimenez Guitars to help shape the evolution of our products and brand. Membership on the Board will be by invitation only and will give unprecedented access to the company and the future of the instruments we produce.
The endorsement program is exactly that – a program that will formalize the relationship between Gimenez Guitars and certain musicians who play our equipment. This is still in the very early stages so there’s not too much to reveal here yet. But we’ll have more info on both of these programs soon.
One thing is for certain – both of these initiatives will take advantage of our brand-new Gig Calendar. The Gig Calendar is intended to be a resource to help artists and bands who wish to work with Gimenez to promote their shows and events. Naturally, becoming an endorser is one way to get your dates on our calendar. But we are always looking for new ways to work with local musicians to get the word out. One final note. We are also exploring the possibility of forming a Gimenez Guitars Street Team. This will be a group of dedicated, passionate music lovers that we will empower to help spread the word about Gimenez at local events and venues. We’ll be looking for energetic individuals that love the local music scene and have a strong desire to be a part of a cutting-edge brand.
